The Philadelphia 76ersĀ are collaborating withĀ a who's who of streetwearĀ brandsĀ on theĀ 76ers Crossover Capsule, a limited-run collection of unique custom designs that places the concept of "sports team apparel" into a whole new context. This project provided LapstoneĀ our first opportunityĀ to collaborate with iconic Japanese label, Needles, adding mis-matched team color striped taping to their signature polyester track suit.Ā The design takes inspiration from the Sixers jerseys during their legendary 2001 NBA Finals run, with the gold embroidered Needles and Lapstone logos on the chest representing the franchise's two NBA championshipsĀ and this season's quest for another.
